SOSUSU opened late 2016 in a bright and airy center-hall cottage on Magazine Street. Susu knew that the space would prove essential, and it was only after she had settled on this address that her concept began to fully take shape. Originally planned as a shoe store, Susu began adding clothing, jewelry, and other accessories from a mix of well-known up-and-coming labels.

Bringing cosmopolitan fashion to New Orleans is a passion for Susu, who meticulously curates a collection of brands that set SOSUSU apart from the renowned retail scene on Magazine Street. As the exclusive Louisiana stockist for many of the labels she carries, SOSUSU is also the only American boutique to represent unique brands like Strathberry. Inspired by her travels—whether strolling through the timeless streets of Paris or immersing herself in the ever-evolving fashion scenes of Sydney and São Paulo—Susu became captivated by the dynamic energy of contemporary fashion.
